INDONIGHTSPOT – Asia Music Event (AME) will debut in Hong Kong from 26–27 November 2026, bringing together 1000+ leading executives, decision-makers, labels, artists, festival operators and creative pioneers from across Asia and the international electronic music industry.

“Asia is at a pivotal moment in the global electronic music movement,” says Marco Zhu, the Programme Director of AME. “AME is about creating a genuine two-way bridge between Asia and the international music industry, helping the world better understand Asia’s unique markets and culture, while creating new opportunities for people across the ecosystem to connect, collaborate and grow.”

The conference will take place at Soho House Hong Kong and will feature 30+ program sessions, 200+ companies and 1000+ leading voices and industry figures from organizations, platforms and festivals including Warner Music, Beatport, Zamna Festival and Lisbon Dance Summit with many more leading artists, executives, platforms, festivals, and industry organizations to be revealed in the coming announcements.

Confirmed speakers include Alex Branson, CCO of Beatport; Becky Yeung, VP of Brand and Partnership at Warner Music; Clinton Lau, Head of Music at INS Land and President of The Magic of Tomorrowland; Leo (Leon FR) Arbez, Co-Founder of Magic Room; Jesper Skibsby, Co-Founder of Lisbon Dance Summit; Ayudita Hariadi, Head of Booking at IsMaya / DWP; and Sonia Lau, Business Development Lead at SWIRE Resources.

The two-day programme will combine panels and keynotes with curated networking, showcases and business connections across markets.

The launch comes as electronic music reaches a new global high. According to the 2026 IMS Electronic Music Business Report, the global electronic music industry reached US$15.1 billion in 2025, growing 7% year-on-year. As Asia becomes an increasingly important part of that growth, AME aims to establish Hong Kong as a new meeting point between the region’s fast-evolving music ecosystem and the wider global industry.

At its core, AME is a two-way exchange between Asia and the world. Asia is made up of highly distinct markets, each with its own culture, audiences, platforms and business landscape. By bringing together the people actively shaping these markets, AME creates a space for international leaders to better understand Asia while giving Asian talent and businesses greater access to global knowledge, relationships, and opportunities.

Supported by the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB), AME also reflects Hong Kong’s position as a natural gateway between East and West and a hub for international business, culture and entertainment.

Marilyn Tham, General Manager, Mega Events, MICE & Cruise, HKTB said, “The debut of Asia Music Event marks an exciting addition to Hong Kong’s diverse portfolio of international events. As Asia’s capital of entertainment, culture and world-class nightlife, Hong Kong provides an ideal platform for global music industry leaders to connect, collaborate and unlock new opportunities. By bringing together creative communities from around the world, the event reinforces Hong Kong’s role as a super-connector and enhances the city’s international appeal. We look forward to seeing Asia Music Event grow and evolve in Hong Kong, and attract electronic music industry leaders and visitors from across the globe.”

AME’s ambition extends beyond its inaugural edition. AME is committed to develop this event into a major annual gathering for electronic music in Asia over the next three to five years, with the potential to expand into city-wide showcases, parties, industry events and cultural activations. By bringing the global music community to Hong Kong, AME aims to create opportunities across the music industry while contributing to the city’s tourism, hospitality, nightlife and wider creative economy.

The inaugural edition will culminate in the AME Official Closing Party, bringing regional and international artists, industry professionals and the wider music community together, extending the conference from business and knowledge exchange into a shared cultural experience.
