INDONIGHTSPOT – Sunset By NEON Chapter Two brought more than 14,000 festivalgoers together across two days in Genting Highlands on September 26 and 27, delivering a weekend of world-class electronic music, immersive production and unforgettable experiences before ending with a surprise that few saw coming.

From MORTEN and Enrico Sangiuliano’s powerful Day One sets to an extended three-hour journey from Agents Of Time on Day Two, the second chapter of Sunset By NEON continued to position Genting Highlands as a destination for electronic music fans looking for something beyond the conventional festival experience.

And just when the night seemed to be over, NEON Projects revealed its next adventure: ANYMA Presents ÆDEN in Bangkok on December 5, sending festivalgoers into one final wave of excitement before the weekend came to an end.

Two Days, Fourteen Thousand Festivalgoers And A Lot Of Music

Day One opened with MORTEN unleashing a set packed with energy, including unreleased material such as “London”, his collaboration with David Guetta and Tinie Tempah and classics like ‘Gimme Dat’ leaving festival goers pumped. Sangiuliano brought the night into darker territory, closing Day One with a deep, driving and hypnotic techno journey that left the crowd immersed in the final moments of the night.

If Day One was built around intensity, Day Two took a more expansive approach. SLVR kicked things off with a high-energy opening before Rivo took festivalgoers on a journey through some of the tracks that have defined his rise over the past few years.

His set moved between his celebrated take on Disclosure’s “You & Me”, his rework of ARTBAT and SIX40TWO’s “Take You There”, and RÜFÜS DU SOL’s “On My Knees”, giving the crowd a familiar soundtrack while keeping the energy moving forward.

Yotto followed with his signature hypnotic sound, weaving through tracks including “Rhythm of the Night”, “Love Parade” and “Somebody To Love”.

Then came the final act of the weekend.

Agents Of Time closed Chapter Two with an extended three-hour set that kept the crowd moving from beginning to end. Their set moved between classics, new releases and unreleased material, including “RAJADA”, “You + Me” and their rework of The Prodigy’s “Breathe”.

A Festival Above The Clouds

Beyond the music, Chapter Two transformed the Genting Highlands setting into a world of its own.

The festival grounds were bathed in layers of iridescent blue light, complemented by the cool mountain weather and Sunset By NEON’s signature flora and fauna-inspired visual language.

This chapter introduced one of the festival’s largest stage builds to date, spanning three rows of VIP and VVIP viewing areas and framed by massive stone-like structures that gave the environment an otherworldly quality.

The result was a setting that felt deliberately removed from the usual city festival environment, with the mountain landscape becoming part of the experience itself.

Official Title Sponsor and Official Auto Partner OMODA & JAECOO also brought its automotive and lifestyle experience into the festival, giving guests the opportunity to experience the OMODA C7 up close and explore its design and technology in person.

And Then, A New Beginning

As the final set came to an end, festivalgoers were given one more reason to stay until the very end.

NEON Projects announced ANYMA Presents ÆDEN in Bangkok on December 5, marking the first time the new ÆDEN experience will be brought to the region. This surprise announcement during the closing of Chapter Two came with a glimpse of what comes next for NEON Projects, leaving festivalgoers looking forward to the next adventure and finding themselves saying A Prayer for the Dancefloor.
